Important notice regarding the LEAP program

On July 1, 2025, the Microsoft 365 Live Event Assistance Program (LEAP) will transition from a complimentary preview offer to a paid service provided by Microsoft, called Teams Events Hosting Assistance.
We are also pleased to inform you that we will be expanding our services to include Teams Events Advanced Production Services which will provide production and broadcasting services for Town hall, webinars, and events.

Frequently asked questions
How can I get Events Assistance with Unified?
Starting July 1st, your CSAM will handle any requests you have for Events Hosting assistance.
What happens to events that have already been scheduled with LEAP in 2025, and before July 1st?
All events scheduled before July 1st, 2025 will be serviced as part of LEAP until Dec 31st, 2025. Any requests starting from July 1st will require a Unified contract and the VBD.
What if I don’t have a support Plan?
Contact your sales team or start the process of obtaining a customized support contract to access these services and additional support here.
Is this change also valid for Town halls and Webinars?
Yes, Townhalls and Webinars are included under Teams Events Hosting Assistance.
How far in advance of my event do I need to schedule a dispatch?
We recommend you contact your account team or your CSAM at least two weeks ahead of the event.

During preview, the assistance program is free to customers using Teams, Stream, or Yammer to deliver their events. Sign up now to get started.
